| Well, I did it. Set my intention, kept walking towards it and finally made my dreams come true. On August 4, 2006, we closed on the mortgage (yes even dreams come with mortgages) for an addtional two-acre tract of land just 90 seconds from my back door. On that land sits a home that will become GardenSprit - a private space for coaching, writing, respite and connection. It's a four-bedroom private home with a full kitchen, a dining room, a living room perfect for snuggling up with a good book or enjoying the massage chair, a cozy family room with a gigantic fireplace and -- the piece de resistance - a glorious sunroom with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook an extremely private two-acre back yard. Wow! The house needs some TLC -- it sorely lacks charm and the gardens have been neglected. But I am working hard to set things to rights. I put a pot of petunias on the front stoop and a hummingbird feeder on the deck. The little hummers found it immediately, which made me feel better. It's a big house and right now I am a bit overwhelmed with so much to do in a short time. But we are getting there. I have waffled over whether to show you the "before" pictures, but I decided to let you witness the transformation, even if electronically.
